Some years ago there was loose talk about BlueWho starting a service to provide support to end users, white label style.
It would be quite good if Steven was to look into this again. I'm probably going to take a decent road trip about the place sooner rather than later (on a motorcycle) and most of the places I would really like to see (and camp) are a long long way from cell phone coverage. I'm needless to say pretty nervous about being out of contact for my clients, strangely enough the server going down isn't really my worry because BlueWho would generally fix it, it's more if they run out of disk space and need an upgrade, or have a problem with email etc.. Basically my only other option really is to get (rent) a satellite phone, which is pretty expensive, and still means if I get the txt/call that I'd have to break camp and go somewhere I can get a cell signal for my laptop (no way can I afford the $8.50 per meg for satellite internet!) Even if BlueWho charged $100 a month or something, for the 10 or 20 "problems" that might happen it would be far and away cheaper and so much easier and I'd be well happy to pay it so I could sleep easy in my tent out in the wop wops.

Hello James,
Thanks for the input. We'll discuss this with the management and keep you posted.

I'd be interested in this too!
I know I can sell accounts but I'd rather not do the support. If there was some kind of white label service, I'd love it. Thanks, John |

Hi James and John,
Would you want this all to work from an anonymous support url, or would you want the emails coming from yourdomain.com? -Steven |

I've thought loosly about how it would work, and I'd expect that we'd just setup a forwarder from support@ourdomain.com to a unique incoming ticket address (one for each of those who signed up) at you guys end. If possible emails from the ticket system at your end should have the reply-to or from set to be that support@ourdomain.com address and CC/BCC some nominated address, so that we can check on what's happening. If that's not possible, then we'd need some other way to be able to login to the ticket system and look at the tickets for "our customers". Your end would probably have like some notes from us displayed for our tickets with standard information/instructions that we can provide to help your support desk staff.
