Default 5 Years and leaving

Hello,

We were will bluewho for over 5 years and now leaving for a different hosting provider. The support is great and very helpful but everything is "submit a ticket" compared to before it was bought with the help in the forums.

Also the bandwidth and storage space are low for the price per month. We have moved to a new provider that offers more features, way more bandwidth and storage for roughly the same price and has had very responsive support.

It seems since the take over that bluewho is kind of running idle with security patches and reboots the only thing that is happening. Other then the little boost we received when Steven took over in storage and bandwidth not much else has changed.

Overall very happy with our stay here. It is just time to change and get more for our money in this economy.

Thanks for a good 5 years!

Zach

Hi Zach,

It's been a pleasure dealing with you over the years, also we're set to increase our plans in the next week or so. If you haven't moved yet, I'd love if you'd stay!

We don't want the reason for a client to deal with the hassle of moving over some space and bandwidth.

OK, Steven, so it's already a 'week or so'. Any word on the new plan features?

Default Curious...

Steven:

I'm beginning to outgrow my plan and trying to figure out how to proceed. Any word on what might be happening with the plan structure?

Many thanks — still loving the support here.

Hi Steven,

I've been with you for 4 years and I'm finding my package expensive and the 3gb limit extremely restrictive. I just bought a 2TB drive for my home server for $110 so paying $30 a month for 3gb when space is so cheap is expensive.

I just emails sales as I saw the R2X package on the home page - $10 a month cheaper than I'm paying with more storage (but 4gb is still too small) and more bandwidth.

Currently bandwidth is not my issue - it's space and to be honest I'm also looking at new hosts, although I'd rather avoid all of the transfer hassles and stay with you.

What can you offer?

Cheers

I see there is no response to this change. Why release new hosting packages when you can just upgrade existing resalers accounts?

It was 5/12/10 that you posted the above and still no changes.

This was also a reason to leave, I got sick of in a week or so timelines. That never seemed to happen until a lot of responses started asking for it.

Thanks,

Yes, it is getting old. I want to expand my business, but am afraid of running out space. I don't want to move my sites, but unless there is some major changed done, and soon. I may have to.

Hi Guys,

Really sorry about the delay, but we're trying to get a new design done for the BW site.. This site has a backend CMS which makes it really hard to use, as the site is about 100 pages.. The current one is just too hard to edit. For anyone who needs more space and bandwidth please put in a ticket and we'll upgrade you to our new limits.

Really, I don't care about the new design. The current one will work for me. I've been here for many years. Maybe new business will be attracted to a new site, but you need to take care of current customers right now, too.

What are the new limits? Is it worth staying, or am I better off to move on to a host that's more responsive to customers and doesn't spend all their time on a 'new design' of the site??

For those of you who haven't put in tickets, many have, we are going to triple the resources for both disk space and bandwidth!
